As part of the Community & Recreation Services Division, youll be working in a fast-paced, creative environment focused on delivering active, safe programs for kids and youth to develop their skills, while meeting new friends. The City of Surrey is a HIGH FIVE registered organization. We are committed to ensuring that every child in our programs has a positive recreation experience. Our Summer Day Camps are offered in a variety of facilities including recreation centres, schools, community halls, arenas, pools and parks.

Junior Day Camp Leaders (Community Services Assistant 1) are responsible for the design and implementation of day camp programs for children and youth. Summer Day Camps are offered in a variety of facilities including recreation centres, schools, community halls, arenas, pools and parks.

Senior Day Camp Leaders (Community Services Assistant 2)are responsible for providing day camp participants with an active, safe and stimulating environment to developing social skills and general well-being.
