Main Purpose and Function
This is a senior operational management position responsible for the efficient and effective day-to-day operation of the Equipment Services Branch. The Superintendent III will work with his/her counterparts in the department to provide guidance to a team of Superintendent Is in supervising the workforce. The position will provide senior labour, business and change management expertise and oversee operational improvements through stakeholder engagement, continuous improvement, benchmarking and centralized training for all of Equipment Services.

Key Contacts and Reporting Relationships
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this position will manage approximately 15 staff full time as well as staff in work areas being reviewed; on average 30-40 staff total; resolves issues with fleet users across City (up to GM level), external vendors, and internal service providers such as Human Resources and Business Planning
