Main Purpose and Function
The Civil Engineer II in the Sewers Design Branch provides leadership, training and engineering expertise to a team of engineers and technicians. This team is responsible for developing the plans and policy that continues to provide sanitary and storm sewer service to residents and lead the City to eliminating combined sewer overflows by 2050. Assignments involve public infrastructure investments and collaboration with City Planning on facilitating the growth of the City. The position will represent the Branch with stakeholders including other City departments, and external agencies like Metro Vancouver.
