We are currently seeking an individual to fill the role of Manager, Engineering Infrastructure Planning. This position develops and conducts or directs engineering studies pertaining to infrastructure modelling and servicing strategies; prepares comprehensive reports including recommendations; establishes requirements for master servicing plans for major developments. Reviews and finalizes the master plans; facilitates the compilation and coordination of the overall engineering capital program; and plans assigns, supervises and checks the work of technical subordinates. The position establishes and maintains effective working relations with a wide variety of internal and external contacts and committees in providing information, reports, and assistance on matters related to the work. The position works closely with Development staff, consultants, Administration staff, Operations and Maintenance staff, and outside agencies. The position is also responsible for various administration and functional duties including: developing and maintaining infrastructure models, preparing infrastructure servicing strategies, supporting the development of Integrated Storm Water Management Plan (ISMP) development, and reviewing development requests. Performs related work as required.

Qualifications include a University degree in Engineering with a Professional Engineering designation (P. Eng) and a minimum of five years of professional municipal engineering experience, including infrastructure modelling. The position requires the ability to work independently, communicate clearly and effectively, be organized and work collaboratively with internal and external contacts.
