We are currently seeking a Digital Communications and Production Supervisor for our Corporate Communications Division.

Reporting to the Manager Corporate Communications, the Digital Communications and Production Supervisor is responsible for developing the Citys website strategy and directing the ongoing development and maintenance of the corporate websites and related online services, as well as overseeing and coordinating print production services for the City. Supervising a small team of technical professionals engaged in website management, graphic design and print production, this position establishes design guidelines and graphic standards for both print and digital materials. The Digital Communications and Production Supervisor also provides strategic and technical advice in support of corporate digital communications and print production activities, including specialty print and marketing items, while also providing routine website maintenance and graphic design support.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communications skills as well as strong interpersonal and customer service skills and proven experience in managing a corporate website and/or production services. This should be supported by strong technical ability and a demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically, while exercising sound judgment. Your capacity to provide strong leadership and manage multiple and concurrent priorities in a fast-paced work environment is essential to success in this role.

Along with possessing a degree or diploma in communications, marketing or public relations, preferred candidates will have related technical training in web and graphic design or print production, along with considerable experience in corporate digital communications and website management.

A CUPE hourly rate of $38.78 to $45.83, plus a comprehensive benefits package and a compressed work week is being offered. Applicants under consideration may be required to consent to a Police Information Check.
