The City of Port Coquitlam is currently seeking an energetic individual for an exciting new opportunity within our Engineering & Public Works Department as a Parks Coordinator responsible for Parks Maintenance, Cemetery, Turf Management, Playgrounds, & Projects Coordinator. Reporting to the Citys Manager of Parks Services, the incumbent will perform supervisory, technical and administrative work planning, organizing and directing parks operations and projects. The successful applicant to this position exercises considerable independent judgement and action in completing assignments and supervises subordinates and contractors as required.

Our ideal candidate has:The terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Citys CUPE Collective Agreement. The 2015 hourly rate of pay for this full-time position is $38.65 based on a 40-hour work week which may include a work week other than MondayFriday. This position also includes a comprehensive benefit package including pension upon successful completion of a four-month probationary period.
